Michael Daals was named the most talented sommelier of the Netherlands in 2008 (Gault-Millau) and nominated for best host of the Netherlands and Belgium (Saissonier) in 2010. He was a permanent panel member of the Grand Jury of the "Wine and Food Association" in Amsterdam for 8 years and of the "International Taste and Quality Institute" in Brussels.
