• La Sonrisa Espumosa Edición Reserva NV Prestigious Spanish sparkling wine. Clear golden yellow colour, softly sparkling with lots of freshness and elegant structure. Made from Pinot Nero and Chardonnay according to the Charmat Method , also called the 'cuve close' method, invented by the Frenchman Eugène Charmat in 1910 and involves a second fermentation of the wine that does not take place in the bottle but in the (stainless steel) barrel. Sugar and yeast are added to this tank. During this second fermentation, carbon dioxide is created that cannot escape and dissolves in the wine. Before bottling, liqueur d'expédition is added. This is a mixture of cane sugar, white wine and possibly esprit de cognac. With this method, high-quality sparkling wines can be made relatively cheaply. Once the second fermentation is complete, the sparkling wine is bottled under pressure. At no time is there any contact with the outside air.
  
  Story behind the label: La Sonrisa Espumosa Reserva is our exclusive cuvée and therefore exclusively available. La Sonrisa, the smile in Spanish, is a fine, expressive bubble, also called Espumosa . ' Reserva ' is a quality designation for a more mature style.
• Sparkling - Light, fresh, juicy with an elegant mousse. Clear golden yellow colour, medium dry, juicy, sparkling and sparkling. Can be drunk as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light meals.

  Story behind the label: ' Freestyle Edition' ; three grape varieties have contributed to this special Sommelier Selected Cuvée, especially Riesling as the odd one out. The Riesling gives the wine a subtle residual sweetness, which is very pleasant and refreshing, both in mouthfeel and aftertaste.

• Cava Divino Oro Brut NV Excellent quality Cava made from 40% Macabeo, 30% Parellada and 30% Xarello according to the Methode Traditionelle (2nd fermentation in the bottle). Classic, dry style with beautiful minerality. A mass of exuberant small bubbles, creamy aromas of pear, orange and vanilla. One and a half to two years of bottle aging.
• Sparkling - Ripe, powerful with a full mousse. A classic, dry Cava with a beautiful minerality. Exuberant, subtle bubbles that together generate a present mousse. In the mouth, creamy aromas of pear, orange and fresh vanilla.
• Our sommeliers recommend: Suitable as an aperitif. • 'Seven Numbers' '8' Traditional method. Blend of Furmint, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Single Vineyards. The wine is made in the classic way with a second fermentation in the bottle. This takes place at 13 - 14 degrees Celsius. The no less than 50 months sur Lie give this sparkling wine a mature and delicate character.
  
  Story behind the label: The Puklavec family creates a very special heritage and ultimate exclusivity with these wines. Geographical location is key. By marking the unique vineyards with seven numbers, they can trace each grape back to its location. Understanding specific terroir; microclimate and soil composition, requires dedication and knowledge. Our Seven Number wines have proven that this dedication can deliver spectacular results, which have an increasing reputation among wine connoisseurs.

• Champagne Blanc des Blancs Grand Cru NV Fantastic Grand Cru Champagne, Blanc des Blancs, so made from 100% Chardonnay, according to the Methode Traditionelle. Comes from a small but very ambitious company in Chouilly, a Grand Cru village. The vineyards are located on very good limestone soils. 100% Chardonnay and at least 3 years 'sur lattes' before disgorgement. An extremely careful vinification in temperature-controlled fermentation tanks give this magnificent result! The second fermentation takes place in the bottles, which slowly mature in the cool of our cellar for at least 36 months.
  
  Special mention! Michelin star restaurant The Jane in Antwerp , led by master chef Sergio Herman, has included this beautiful Blanc des Blancs Champagne from Hostomme as the permanent Champagne of the house. Sergio Herman, like the current sommelier of The Jane , was immediately very pleasantly surprised by the special and very good price/quality ratio.
