  • Pouilly Fuissé: Traditional (picking, pressing, alcoholic fermentation, maturation). After Further maturation in oak barrels for 12 months, of which 20% new, bottling July 2010. Made from 100% Chardonnay.
    About the wine: The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard plot that is sheltered on the lowest part of a hill with an east-facing slope.
    Did you know that Pouilly Fuissé is often confused with Pouilly Fumé? However, these wines are completely different. The Pouilly-Fumé comes from the Loire, and is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc. (Also take a look at our Poully Fumé, at the Domaine Domnique Pabiot winery).
  • White wine - Full, creamy and complex (fresh style with nice fruit and wood aging).
    Pure with spicy nuances of pineapple, ginger, honey and floral tones. Tight, fairly powerful attack, spicy taste somewhat wider with beautiful acidity. Beautiful, refined finish with an accent on citrus.
  • Our sommeliers recommend: Goes well with grilled, fried or roasted fish (e.g. à la Meunière), oven-baked fish with a rich sauce and fried shellfish and crustaceans au gratin. Also good with grilled white meat and fried or deep-fried sweetbreads with rich sauces and grilled and oven-baked vegetables. Cream soups and rich salads with warm preparations with fish and grilled vegetables also go well. Also try with spicy white mould cheeses.
