ADRIEN REDON, UN GRANDE FAMILLE

In the heart of the Champagne vineyards , between Reims, Châlon and Épernay, lies the beautiful family winery Adrien Rédon . Generation after generation has been given the honourable task of running the Champagne estate, which today covers no less than 5 hectares.Pascal Redon, together with his wife Pascale Redon , laid the foundation of the wine estate, the largest part of their estate is located in Trépail; a commune in the French Department of Marne (Champagne-Ardennes region). Today, the majority of the vines thrive on the sunny eastern slopes of the Montagne de Reims , also called "Grande Montagne de Reims", south of Reims.

100% PREMIER CRU

The slopes of the Montagne de Reims are rich in lime and minerals. This gives the grapes an extra boost in developing their aromas and elegance. 80% of the slopes in the wine region are planted with Chardonnay . The other 20% is rich in Pinot Noir. The mineral & lime-rich character of the soil gives the Chardonnay elegance & finesse , with freshness at the same time. The aromatic character of the Pinot Noir is further enhanced, giving the ripeness a sublime finesse. All grapes planted on the Redon wine estate have Premier Cru status. Pascal Redon often blends different cuvées with a high percentage of Reserva wines and is continuously looking for improvement, in all phases of the winemaking process. With an eye and respect for the environment , the unique fertile soil and the natural balance between human influence and nature, Adrien Redon achieves a sensible and sustainable viticulture.

GREW UP AMONG THE VINEYARDS

Pascal's son, Adrien Redon, talks passionately about his young, starting role in the Redon family estate: "I grew up among the vineyards and learned and inherited my family's passion for winemaking and craftsmanship. Today, I have the honor of being the representative of the Champagne Redon wine estate, its unique soil and the family wealth . " Respect for traditions and mastery of modern methods allow us to have continuous quality improvements.

THE 'R' FAMILY

Son Adrien, in collaboration with his father Pascal, has launched his own collection of wines on the market. Redon champagnes undergo special treatment, taking into account the terroir, the vineyards and the style of the winery. All champagnes have the letter 'R' in the cuvée, which has a double meaning. Of course the R of the Redon family . In addition, the 'R' in the name also refers to 'the air' , the air / the environment , which the Redon family, in consultation with the terroir, attaches great value to. Adrien wanted to make the line of champagnes in his own style , that is to say according to his taste style . Lightly sparkling, subtle, lively and pure. UN R D'AUTREFOIS; ' THE ATMOSPHERE OF THAT TIME' : Cuvée with characteristics of the terroir in Trépail, made from 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. Balanced, juicy Champagne.
L'R DU TEMPS; 'CONTEMPORARY AIR': Delicate, fresh, Extra Brut Rosé, made from 67% Chardonnay, 18% Pinot Noir and 15% Trépail Rouge, a local red grape from the region.
LE GRAND R: 'THE GREAT AIRY': Beautiful cuvée made from 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir; made from old vines from the 'Redonese' vineyards. Powerful, complex and successful.
UN R DE RIEN: ' NO AIR' : Lightly wood-matured cuvée made from 100% Chardonnay; a tight, fresh-dry Champagne with a nice balance between minerality and terroira aromas.
