• Riesling Auslese 'Brauneberger Juffer': Very elegant Auslese made from the noble Riesling grape. Textbook example and very characteristic for a Mosel-typical Auslese, made from 100% Riesling .
  
  Story behind the label: Originating from the 'Brauneberger Juffer' vineyard in the Mosel, 'Auslese', literally translated 'pick out/selected out'; ripe grapes are selectively picked by hand, less good grapes are removed from the bunches in order to keep the best of the best for fermentation. Auslese is a predicate in Germany; Qualitätswein mit Prädikat guarantees a certain ripeness of the grapes at the time of picking.
• Sweet and Fortified Wines - Ripe, sweet . Golden yellow color. A nose of fragrant passion fruit and mango, the taste is extremely refined, sweet ripe grapes, nice refined acidity, very well made.
• Our sommeliers advise: Nice combination with fried foie gras with sweet components and spicy hard cheeses and blue vein cheeses with compote. Also a perfect combination with warm preparations of chocolate, creamy desserts with fruit and nuts like almonds and soufflé with rich components like chocolate and caramel.
